What is Physics?

“Physics mainly deals with the nature and properties of matter and energy. The subject matter of physics includes mechanics, heat, light and other radiation, sound, electricity, magnetism, and the structure of atoms”.

Physics is a natural science based on experiments, measurements and mathematical analysis with the purpose of finding quantitative physical laws for everything from the nanoworld of the microcosmos to the planets, solar systems and galaxies that occupy the macrocosmos.

Physics describes a wide range of phenomena within the physical sciences, ranging from the behaviour of microscopic particles that make up matter to the evolution of the entire Universe

Candidates who hold a B.Sc physics degree can apply for researcher or scientist posts at top organisations in India like DRDO, BARC, ISRO, NTPC, BHEL etc. Technician: Various private organisations hire candidates with B.Sc Physics degree for technical support/ Technician jobs.

Mathematics Department

Mathematics is a fundamental part of human thought and logic , and integral to attempts at understanding the world and ourselves. Mathematics is the foundation of all engineering problem also it provides strong base for the problems and solving and analytical thinking which all engineers need. A mathematics methods and technique that are useful in almost all branches of engineering , commerce and science.
Right from the beginning its faculty members have taught in many pure as well as applied branches of mathematics like real and complex Analysis, topology, metric Spaces, Algebra, Numerical Analysis, Number Theory, Classical Mechanics, Graph Theory, Calculus and Differential equations. The department is keep of identifying current trends in mathematics education and organizes workshops for mathematics community at regular intervals.
Scope of mathematics :- After M.Sc.
After completing M.Sc. in Mathematics you can choose from a wide range of potential jobs prospects, including from Mathematician, Statistician, Teacher/Professor, Software developer/Engineer, Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst, Meteorologist, Astronomer, Research Scientist, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Game designer, Chartered Accountant and many more…
Scope of After B.Sc. Mathematics:
After your graduation from a B.Sc. Mathematics degree, you can pursue courses like MCA, M.Sc. IT, actuarial sciences, MBA, or M.Sc. in Mathematics. To get the most out of this course, its best to immediately pursue higher studies after having completed your graduation.
